About BrainRank

Last updated: 2026-08-25

BrainRank is a free online testing service where anyone can measure their reaction speed, reflexes, and memory.

Tests we offer

We currently offer seven tests: Reaction Time, Click Speed (CPS), Memory, Color Blindness, Mental Math, Typing Speed, and Aim Trainer.

The Reaction Time test measures your average reaction time (ms) over 5 rounds by having you click the instant the screen turns green. The Click Speed test measures how many times you can click in 10 seconds (CPS). The Memory test has you memorize and reproduce a sequence of tiles lighting up, measuring the highest level you reach. The Color Blindness test screens for red-green color vision deficiency by having you find numbers hidden in dot-pattern plates. The Mental Math test tallies correct minus incorrect answers to arithmetic problems within 25 seconds. The Typing Speed test measures characters typed per minute on a given sentence. The Aim Trainer measures how many randomly appearing targets you can click within a time limit.

You can try every test without an account, but you need to log in to save your record and appear on the leaderboard.

Ranking system

Each test's ranking is sorted by each user's best record. For tests where lower is better (like reaction time), rankings are sorted from lowest to highest; for tests where higher is better (click speed, memory), from highest to lowest.

The Overall Score is the average of each user's percentile score across all tests. This makes it hard to reach #1 overall by excelling at just one test — being well-rounded across multiple tests yields a higher score.

Community

The community consists of boards on various topics — general discussion, sharing test results, tips and information, games and subculture, and more. You can share your test results and chat with other users.

Inappropriate posts or comments can be reported to us using the report feature. When a report comes in, we review it and take action such as hiding or deleting the content.

Multilingual support

BrainRank is available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. You can switch languages anytime using the language selector in the top-right corner.
