Your score is the total from 25 seconds of play (+1 for each correct answer, −1 for each wrong one), so mindlessly guessing won't get you far. A higher score means faster, more accurate calculation, and you can compare it with other users on the leaderboard.
Beyond raw arithmetic skill, how quickly you can visually spot the right answer among four choices affects your score too. A smaller screen can slow down reading the choices.
Most people score 8-15 points in 25 seconds, and those comfortable with mental math can hit 20+. Since wrong answers cost points, mashing answers quickly without thinking actually lowers your score.
